What meals are included during the conference?

The following meals are included in your registration:

  • Thursday - Dinner
  • Friday - Lunch and Dinner
  • Saturday - Grab & Go Snack

*Vegetarian and gluten free meals are available at the conference. Please make sure to select this type of meal during your registration.

We understand that many people have varying dietary needs/restrictions. Please be advised that the above options are all we can provide due to the amount of registrants that attend each year. If you have a restrictive diet beyond gluten free or vegetarian, we recommend that you bring your own meals or arrange for meal delivery service at your own expense. Unfortunately, we cannot discount GMHC tickets if you chose not to eat the provided meals. Thank you for understanding.

Is childcare available? Can I bring my own childcare?

  • Childcare is NOT provided at GMHC.
  • We kindly ask that children under 6 not attend the breakout sessions, as it has caused distraction in the past. Infants are welcome to be held by parents.
  • We do have nursing rooms and cry rooms near the main auditorium.
  • We understand that not providing childcare makes it difficult for people with children to attend. We have pursued this opportunity many times, but due to legal and logistical issues, we have not been able to make it work. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes.
  • For safety/security reasons we cannot allow groups to use nursery/children's ministry space for childcare purposes. This includes if you opt to bring your own childcare/babysitter. Children will need to remain in company of their parent(s) while at the conference. Thank you for your understanding.

Does GMHC offer refunds?

Due to processing costs, we typically do NOT offer refunds. If you believe you have extenuating circumstances, you must reach out within 7 days of the conference to be eligible for a full refund. If a refund is requested after this timeframe, please be aware we are only able to offer half of your ticket cost back.

Please email admin@medicalmissions.com with refund requests.

Does the GMHC offer Host Housing?

Yes! Southeast Christian Church (host of GMHC) offers host housing for students and missionaries attending the GMHC.  Members of Southeast Christian Church open their homes as hosts during the week of GMHC.  Host Home placements are on a first come/first serve basis.  A member of the GMHC team will be in touch with you once you have completed our online housing request form. Please note that if you are part of a group, only one person should apply for the entire group.

The Housing Application opens in summer & closes the 1-2 weeks prior to the conference.

If you have questions, please email housing@medicalmissions.com

Do I have to register for the Hands On classes?

You MUST pre-register for these classes on-site at the conference! Online pre-registration is not available. The classes will cost $5 to cover the materials that the facilitators will be supplying.

Please come to the registration desk at your earliest convenience to register for these classes, as they tend to fill up quickly.

Does the GMHC offer Continuing Education Credits?

The GMHC offers up to 8 credit hours of Continuing Education for a variety of health care professions. The sessions that qualify for CE credits are noted online and in information found at the CE desk during the conference. Sessions with available CE must be attended in person to apply for CE and details on how to apply for credit can also be found at the CE information desk.

*Please note that not all sessions qualify for CE and that the types of CE available for applicable sessions varies.

How can I exhibit/purchase a booth space at GMHC?

We are happy to have over 125 exhibitors each year at GMHC. Exhibiting booth space/registration is on a first come, first serve basis. We approve each exhibitor and look to have exhibitors that have a primary focus on medical missions/healthcare related ministries & organizations.

Exhibitor registration opens in early April. Exhibit booths fill up quickly, so we highly recommend that you check back frequently in late March for the exact dates registration opens.

Due to high demand, we cannot pre-reserve any spaces or "hold" spaces before or during booth registration.

All booths are non-refundable. Please be advised of this before purchasing.

Does GMHC offer discounts on tickets?

It is our desire to see everyone who would like to attend GMHC have the opportunity to do so.

We understand that everyone has varying financial situations. We do our best to set ticket prices at a comparable rate to other medical/missions conferences. We encourage each attendee to take advantage of our early-bird ticket prices, as these are the lowest prices on tickets for the year. Ticket prices typically increase quarterly leading up to the conference dates. We also offer the virtual conference option that has a cost break.
